Skyline at Mina Vista is more than just a beautiful residence. Our wonderful caregiving staff provide a full range of services for residents including cooking, cleaning, laundry, and hands on care. Staff members are also on site for 24/7 for any needs that may arise. We take great pride in what we do and take our responsibilities very seriously while also engaging residents to give them the most enjoyable and comfortable experience.

To take care of the widest possible range of residents, our facility and staff is licensed to oversee three main levels of care: personal, directed, supervisory. Personal care entails assistance with daily activities not involving professional skills or training such as showering or coordinating nursing services. In directed care, services assist those incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, or making basic care decisions. Lastly, supervisory care involves awareness of daily activities and needs with intervention in a crisis or assistance in self administration of medication. Entertainment

To give our residents the best experience possible, we provide a wide assortment of activities to increase engagement and positivity in the community. Every room in the beautiful 9 bedroom residence is outfitted with a Smart TV featuring cable to watch any movie, show, or live broadcast. Additionally, we have group events consisting of movie nights, bird watching, exercise classes, and more; all of which, residents are more than welcome to join.

Cooking

One of the most exciting time of day for residents is meal time. Our meals are home-cooked from scratch with ingredients from our local supermarket. Lunch and dinner are scheduled everyday for all residents, and breakfast is made to order via the resident’s request. The menu differs day by day and is updated every week to provide variety while also catering to the resident’s desires.

Medications

Another frequently used service we provide is management and documentation of any medications. A key component to maintaining strong health is regular upkeep and consumption of medications which we hold as one of our top priorities at Skyline at Mina Vista. Staff are trained to handle medications for residents, if needed, and they keep accurate, updated records to reflect any changes in medication or use.
